Would you like to serve your community? The City of Valley Center would like to extend the opportunity for You to serve and support your community as a member of the
Public Properties & Outdoor Spaces Board. The purpose of the Outdoor Spaces & Public Properties Board is to promote Citizen Involvement, Public Communication and Advocacy in an advisory capacity to City Council on issues pertaining the City’s public properties and outdoor spaces. This includes public buildings and facilities, parks, swimming pool, trees, sidewalks, trails, public art, cemetery, and community service project opportunities.
The Board is composed of seven (7) members. Five (5) members must be residents of the City, and two (2) may reside outside the City, but within the designated planning area of the City, which is within three (3) miles of the corporate limits of Valley Center.
The OSB Board normally meets on the first Thursday of the month at 6:00 PM (when there is business to conduct) at the Community Center, 314 E. Clay.
