Captain Scott Kelly, A NASA Astronaut is famous for spending a full year in space aboard the International Space Station back in March 2015. The goal of the mission was to better understand how the human body reacts and adapts to the harsh environment of space. At the time, no other human had spent that much time in space. Once Kelly returned from space, he was studied for the effects gravity had on his body. Kelly will be the featured speaker for the Hutchinson Community College Ray & Stella Dillon Lecture. If you are interested in attending, call Scharlene. The senior van will be available for transporting up to 6 people. Carpooling is also an option.
