    K-State Research and Extension is offering a 4 part program on June 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th designed especially for people with type 2 diabetes. The program will help you learn the skills needed to promote good health. The program includes: planning meals and snacks with delicious and healthy recipes, cooking demonstrations and food sampling, motivation and support, ideas for being more active and an understanding of how diabetes affects your overall health. To register contact Park City Senior Center @ 316-744-1199. The registration fee of $35.00 is required by Friday, June 8th. Space is limited. Open to the public.

    Commodities is a federal program that provides low income Americans and the elderly emergency food assistance at no cost to those who are within the income guidelines. Commodities are distributed every other month on the 4th Wednesday of the month. Assistance is first come, first served.
